My Story

I am so glad you're here!

For those of you who are new around here, my name is Lindsey and I am pretty much your high-energy, dancing, and wellness loving coach next door ;)

Working in the healthcare industry for nearly a decade has led me to this very point. A point of wanting to not only see a change happen…. But be the change. I have noticed a tremendous gap in my patient's understanding of their conditions. Not only that, but I have noticed that so many were quickly prescribed medications, rather than given education about nutrition and exercise. Through these experiences, and my own trials and tribulations within our healthcare system,  I was led to the concept of holistic health and healing. 

 

Holistic health incorporates not only our physical bodies, but our mental health, our spiritual health, the environment we live in, and so much more.

So, why the Holistic Mama?

In September of 2020 I was gifted with becoming a mother to a beautiful baby boy. I wanted to express just how important it is that we STILL take care of ourselves holistically throughout the changes in our lives. Every facet of our being is connected- so with that it only makes sense to approach our health by looking at not only fitness and nutrition, but every other pillar of holistic health too. 

 

Through my years of experience and self-exploration, I will be the first to tell you that drastic diets and rigid exercise plans do not work. Why? Because they do not last long term, nor are they tailored to your individualized lifestyle. I have tried more of these diets, plans, and 15- day challenges than I care to admit.

 

With that said, my philosophy here relies on helping you make those lifestyle changes that are not only going to last you for the long haul- but will also allow you to achieve the confidence that you deserve to have.
